Maryland’s sports wagering market generated $8.8 million in contributions to the state in March 2026, bringing the fiscal year total to more than $105.6 million through the first nine months. Bettors wagered $604.7 million during the month and won back nearly $542 million, with sportsbook operators holding 10.4% of the total handle.
Of the March contributions, approximately $6.6 million was directed to education programs through the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund, while about $2.2 million went to the state’s General Fund. Officials noted that both retail and mobile operators contribute a portion of their proceeds to the Blueprint Fund, with mobile wagering also supporting the General Fund.
