Update: Wootton Parkway is closed to through traffic between Greenplace Terrace and Hurley Avenue.
A large water main break in the 2100 block of Wootton Parkway prompted multiple road closures Friday morning and led to an early dismissal at Thomas S. Wootton High School.
Montgomery County Police said the school began dismissal around 10:15am. Police are urging drivers to avoid unnecessary travel in the area as crews continue repairs, and no additional road closure information has been released.
UPDATE: Wootton High School remains open at this. Early dismissal is set to begin at approximately 10:15 a.m.
