The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) has announced Danny Chavez as its new Vice President of Business Development, with a start date of May 4, 2026.
Chavez brings more than 12 years of experience across domestic and international markets, during which he has helped secure over $2 billion in capital investment and supported the creation of more than 7,900 jobs through projects spanning the United States and 21 countries. He is also the co-founder of Incenti, an AI-powered platform focused on modernizing economic development processes.
In his new role, Chavez will lead MCEDC’s business development strategy, focusing on attracting and retaining companies in high-growth industries while supporting inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Montgomery County. MCEDC President and CEO Jared Smith said Chavez’s experience and approach will help strengthen outcomes for the organization and its partners. Chavez said he is joining at a pivotal time for the County and looks forward to supporting business growth and expanding economic opportunities.
