County Seeks Bilingual Election Judges for Early Voting and Primary Day

The Montgomery County Board of Elections is seeking registered voters to serve as election judges during Early Voting from June 11 through June 18, 2026, and on Primary Election Day, June 23, 2026.

Officials are encouraging applicants of all party affiliations, with a particular need for Republicans and individuals who are fluent in languages such as Spanish, Amharic, Chinese, French, Korean, and Vietnamese to help meet federal language access requirements and support the county’s diverse population.

Eligible participants must be registered Maryland voters, fluent in English, and complete required training, which includes both online and in-person components. Students age 16 and older may also serve and earn student service learning hours. Election judges will receive compensation for training and service, with additional bonuses available for those who worked during the 2024 elections. Multiple positions and shifts are available throughout the county.
