The Montgomery County Office of Community Partnerships and the Asian American Health Initiative will host the fifth annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebration on Sunday, May 3, from 11 am to 4 pm at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown.
The free, family-friendly event is open to the public and has been organized with support from 18 local nonprofits serving the AAPI community, in recognition of AAPI Heritage Month and the contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander residents.
The event will include a variety of activities such as a health fair with screenings, cultural performances, children’s activities, food vendors, and community remarks. Organizers say the celebration aims to promote cultural awareness, community engagement, and access to resources, reflecting Montgomery County’s diverse population and ongoing efforts to support AAPI residents.
