Silver Branch and Mosaic Pizza to Open in Wheaton Headquarters Building

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and County Council President Natali Fani-González will join representatives from Silver Branch Brewing Company on Thursday, April 30 to announce a finalized lease agreement bringing the brewery and restaurant to the M-NCPPC Wheaton Headquarters Building at 2425 Reedie Drive.

The businesses will occupy approximately 8,589 square feet of indoor space, along with outdoor seating, as part of the County’s effort to activate retail space within the building.

The addition marks the first retail tenants at the Wheaton Headquarters and is part of a broader plan to expand dining and entertainment options in downtown Wheaton. County officials say the project supports the vision for a more active, mixed-use Wheaton Town Square, with the announcement event also serving as a community open house for residents to learn more about the space and upcoming development.

Silver Branch operates two locations in Montgomery County, its original brewery at 8401 Colesville Road in Silver Spring and a second taproom at 7301 Calhoun Place in Rockville, which opened last year in the former home of True Respite Brewing. The brewery’s Warrenton Station location in Virginia remains temporarily closed following a fire in December.
