Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded around 2:15 am Wednesday to the 3200 block of Automobile Boulevard near Briggs Chaney Road in Fairland for a reported fire in the area.
Upon arrival, crews located a commercial building fire at a Jiffy Lube with flames extending through the roof. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the building did not have a sprinkler system, the cause remains under investigation, and damage is estimated at approximately $225,000.
