Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) responded early Friday morning to a fatal collision in Gaithersburg involving a vehicle and a Ride On bus.
The crash was reported at approximately 4:47 am.
Mid County Highway is currently closed at Goshen Road, and Goshen Road is shut down at Emory Grove Road as emergency crews remain on scene. The driver of the Ride On bus remained at the location following the collision.
Drivers are advised to expect significant delays in the area and are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Additional details, including information about the victim and circumstances surrounding the crash, will be released as the investigation continues.
