Maryland’s sports wagering market generated more than $9.1 million in state contributions during April 2026, according to state gaming officials. Bettors wagered more than $574.2 million during the month and won back approximately $511.1 million in prizes, while sportsbook operators held 11 percent of total wagers. Through the first 10 months of Fiscal Year 2026, sports wagering has contributed nearly $114.8 million to the state.
Nearly $6.9 million of April’s total went to the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund supporting public education programs, while another $2.25 million from mobile wagering proceeds was directed to the state’s General Fund. Since the launch of sports wagering in December 2021, Maryland has generated more than $263.9 million for the Blueprint Fund.
