The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold a virtual public hearing on Wednesday, June 10 at 6:30 pm to discuss the proposed Cheltenham Drive Bikeway project in Bethesda.
The project would add bicycle lanes along Norfolk Avenue from Woodmont Avenue to Wisconsin Avenue and continue along Cheltenham Drive to Tilbury Street as part of the County’s broader Bethesda Loop and 2018 Bicycle Master Plan.
During the online hearing, MCDOT will present details about the project’s design, costs, and schedule while giving residents the opportunity to ask questions and provide testimony. The public is encouraged to visit the project website and provide feedback via the online comment form or by email to Project Manager Hoang Nguyen at [email protected] by Friday, June 12. Written testimony carries the same weight as oral testimony. All information provided will become a matter of public record.
