The Container Store locations are beginning the transition to a new combined “The Container Store + Bed Bath & Beyond” format, with stores currently running large sales ahead of the rollout of new merchandise.
According to a representative at the Rockville location, Bed Bath & Beyond items could begin arriving and being stocked as early as next week. The changes come as the company prepares to rebrand stores under a new hybrid concept that combines The Container Store’s organizing products and in-home services with an expanded assortment of home goods from Bed Bath & Beyond.
The company says locations are expected to transition over the coming months into the new “The Container Store + Bed Bath & Beyond” model, which it describes as its future operating format. Company officials say the updated stores will feature organizing solutions alongside expanded home décor, storage, and complementary household products associated with the Bed Bath & Beyond brand.
Montgomery County currently has two The Container Store locations, including stores at 201 Ellington Boulevard in Gaithersburg and 1601 Rockville Pike in Rockville.
