Montgomery County Police are investigating after an adult female was found dead Saturday evening in Burtonsville.
According to MCPD, 3rd District officers were dispatched at approximately 6:23 pm for a welfare check in the 3900 block of Blackburn Lane. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female who was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say this remains an active and ongoing death investigation. Additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
