A 7-Eleven in Bowie sold a $250,000 winning scratch-off ticket to a Maryland landscaper who claimed the prize this week.
According to MD Lottery, the Bowie resident won the top prize on a $10 Money scratch-off ticket and visited Lottery headquarters on May 14 to claim the winnings. The player said he purchased two tickets at the 7-Eleven located at 15700 Mount Oak Road, with the second ticket revealing the $250,000 top prize.
The winner said he plans to use the money for home improvement projects and to pay off his car. The Prince George’s County retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
