More Than 80 Bands Set To Perform At WOODMOORstock 2026

WOODMOORstock will return to Silver Spring on Saturday, June 6, celebrating its fifth anniversary with what organizers say will be its biggest festival yet. The free, all-ages event will transform the Woodmoor neighborhood into a community-wide music festival featuring more than 80 bands performing across 14 porch stages from noon to 6 pm.

What began as a neighborhood gathering has grown into one of the region’s most unique music events, earning recognition from The Washington Post as one of the “10 D.C. music festivals you can’t miss in June.” Festivalgoers can expect a wide variety of musical genres, along with local food and beverage trucks stationed throughout the neighborhood.

In addition to live music, the event will feature a children’s book drive hosted by the Rotary Club of Downtown Silver Spring. A kickoff fundraiser, “Sound Check Trivia,” will be held on Friday, June 5, and hosted by local trivia expert Matt Andelman with support from Denizens Brewing Co.. Printed maps, schedules, and commemorative festival merchandise will also be available for purchase.

“WOODMOORstock started as a simple idea, bring neighbors together through music,” said co-organizer Marni Hall. “While WOODMOORstock evolves, it remains a neighborhood celebration of music where everyone belongs.”

The festival takes place throughout the Woodmoor neighborhood in Four Corners near the intersection of University Boulevard and Colesville Road. Parking will be available at Pinecrest Park and Elementary School, as well as Montgomery Blair High School.
