Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded at approximately 7:57pm on Sunday to a house fire in the 18800 block of Cross Country Lane in Gaithersburg.
According to MCFRS Spokesperson David Pazos, firefighters located a kitchen fire that had extended into nearby cabinets and portions of the attic. All occupants safely escaped without injury. Four residents, including three adults and one child, were unable to return to the home and are receiving assistance through the Red Cross.
