The Montgomery County Department of Transportation is continuing its low-cost adult bicycle classes through June, with several Learn to Ride sessions and a Basic Skills class still scheduled this month.
Classes are open to adults 18 and older and cost $10 for Montgomery County residents, while members of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association and Capital Bikeshare for All can attend for free with registration.
Remaining June classes include Learn to Ride sessions on June 7 at Westfield Montgomery Mall and June 14 at the Farm Women’s Market (4601 Leland Street) in Bethesda. , as well as a Basic Skills class on June 13 at Montgomery College in Rockville. A free drop-in e-scooter class will also be offered following the June 7 bike class. Participants will learn bicycle handling, safety, and riding skills from experienced instructors, with bicycles, e-scooters, and helmets provided where applicable.
