Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services, in partnership with Montgomery County Recreation and other community organizations, will host the Rainbow Senior Prom on Saturday, July 11, celebrating LGBTQ+ adults ages 55 and older, as well as their friends, caregivers and allies.
The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, located at 1000 Forest Glen Road in Silver Spring. Organizers encourage attendees to bring their dancing shoes for an afternoon featuring food, music, dancing, a photo booth, glam stations with nail polishing and other activities.
