Montgomery County Police are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in the 9600 block of Lost Knife Road in Gaithersburg.
The incident occurred at the Lakeforest Transit Center around 7:30pm on Sunday. A police spokesperson is en route to the scene. No additional information has been released at this time. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
The shooting comes 24 hours after officers responded to a stabbing at the Lakeforest Transit Center.
