Montgomery County Students Earn Dunkin’ DMV Scholarships

Five Montgomery County students are among 50 recipients selected to receive $2,500 scholarships through the 2026 Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship Program, which awarded a total of $125,000 to high school seniors and college students across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia

The Montgomery County recipients are:

  • Evelyn Hwang of Bethesda, a Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School graduate who will attend the University of Michigan.
  • Zoe Soboslay of Boyds, a Northwest High School graduate who will attend the University of Georgia.
  • Chipo Mwampokolo of Damascus, who will attend Montgomery College.
  • Katherine Ford of Montgomery Village, a Gaithersburg High School graduate who will attend Montgomery College’s Germantown Campus.
  • Sarah Lin and Sarah Mizrahi of Rockville, graduates of Walter Johnson High School and Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy, respectively, who will attend Georgetown University and the University of Maryland.
  • Victoria Saravia of Silver Spring, who will attend the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

The scholarships were awarded based on academic achievement, leadership and community involvement. Since its launch in 2021, the Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship Program has awarded $600,000 to 240 students throughout the region. The 2026 recipients will be recognized during an awards ceremony at M&T Bank Stadium on July 24.
