Montgomery County Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service are on the scene of a serious single-vehicle crash in the Ashton area that has left one person critically injured.
The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday in the 1700 block of Ashton Road. According to preliminary information, one person sustained critical injuries. No information about the victim’s age or gender has been released.
As a result of the investigation, Ashton Road is closed at Mink Hollow Road (Route 108) and Tucker Road at New Hampshire Avenue. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
