An adult male pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Hillandale, according to Montgomery County police.
Montgomery County Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service responded at approximately 4:51 a.m. to the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Powder Mill Road for the reported pedestrian collision. The driver remained at the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and drivers are advised to use alternate routes while the area is impacted.
