Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews responded at approximately 4:12 p.m. Monday to the 9700 block of Fields Road near Washingtonian Towers Road in Gaithersburg for a reported scaffolding collapse.
According to MCFRS, crews arrived to find that a section of scaffolding on the ninth floor had collapsed. Two workers who were on the scaffolding at the time were able to escape through apartment windows.
No injuries were reported.
