Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a townhouse fire in the 20100 block of Club Hill Drive in Germantown on Sunday.
Crews were dispatched at approximately 5:17 p.m. and found a kitchen fire on the first floor of a middle-of-the-row townhouse, with the fire extending to the second floor. The single occupant was not home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
MCFRS removed two dogs from the townhouse. One of the dogs required resuscitation and was successfully revived by firefighters. The homeowner has been displaced as a result of the fire.
