Cafe X-press at 8000 Norfolk Avenue in downtown Bethesda will permanently close on Saturday, August 29.
According to a report by Robert Dyer, the restaurant’s lease has expired and the owners have decided not to seek a new location. The longtime coffee shop and deli has operated in Bethesda since 1994.
The menu includes breakfast sandwiches and platters, omelets, burritos, paninis, deli sandwiches, subs, wraps, salads and rice bowls. Korean-inspired options include bulgogi and bibimbap dishes.
