Pop Mart is now open at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.
The collectible toy retailer first arrived at the mall in early 2025 with a vending machine in the dining terrace. The machine quickly attracted customers, particularly for its Labubu figures, with high demand at times resulting in sellouts and temporary shutdowns.
The new store offers customers a larger selection and a traditional retail experience beyond the company’s automated vending concept.
Founded in China, Pop Mart specializes in collectible designer toys, many of which are sold in “blind boxes” that keep the specific figure inside a mystery until opened. The company has developed an international following through collections and characters including the popular Labubu.
