iSMASH has taken another step toward opening its first Montgomery County location, with permanent exterior signage now installed at its future home at The Square in Rockville.
The rage room and interactive entertainment concept is coming to 36-C Maryland Avenue, next to Dirty Dough in a space previously occupied by the Rockville Science Center. “Coming Soon” signage had previously been installed at the location as preparations for the opening continued.
iSMASH is known for its rage rooms, where guests can safely destroy items such as glassware, electronics and furniture using baseball bats, sledgehammers and other tools. The company offers several packages, including a “Bring Your Own Box” option that allows customers to bring approved items to smash.
The location will also offer iSMASH’s Splatter Paint experience, where guests create artwork by throwing neon paint under blacklights. The activity is available for participants as young as 3 years old.
An opening date for the Rockville location has not yet been announced.
