Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a two-vehicle collision on Georgia Avenue at the I-495 Beltway around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
One of the vehicles overturned, trapping one person who was extricated by crews. Several people were evaluated at the scene, and one person was transported to an area hospital as a Priority 2 trauma patient.
Some lanes were blocked following the collision.
