La Poteria Coffee Trailer is now open in Rockville. The trailer, located at 200 N. Washington Street at the Exxon gas station across from Trader Joe’s, held its first day of service on Wednesday, September 16.
The trailer serves Pergamino Lomaverde single-origin espresso, waffles, empanadas, pandebonos, specialty drinks and other Colombian food and coffee offerings.
La Poteria opened its brick-and-mortar location at 19116 Montgomery Village Avenue in 2021. Its menu includes empanadas with fillings such as beef, chicken, spinach and cheese, and pineapple, ham and cheese. It also offers cassava flour and cheese-based “Pan-De-Waffles” in savory and sweet varieties.
La Poteria previously planned to open a location nearby at 115 N. Washington Street, where signage had been installed. That space now has signage for Bogotá Coffee House, which is unrelated to La Poteria. La Poteria also operates food trailers at Clarksburg Premium Outlets.
