A Multi-Match ticket sold in Towson matched all six numbers in the Thursday, September 17 drawing to win an estimated $540,000 jackpot, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The winning ticket was sold at the Towson Shell station at 935 York Road. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. The winning numbers were 17, 18, 19, 29, 40 and 42.
The winner can choose between an estimated $540,000 paid in 25 equal annual installments or an estimated $290,000 one-time cash option before taxes. The ticket marks the fourth Multi-Match jackpot win of 2026 and the second in 18 days, following a $4.2 million jackpot won by a Riverdale man in the August 31 drawing.
An additional 19,627 tickets won prizes ranging from $2 to $1,000 in Thursday’s drawing. The jackpot resets to $500,000 for the next drawing on Monday. The winner has 182 days from the drawing date to claim the prize.
