Chop Shop Butchery at 12209 Darnestown Rd in Gaithersburg will host a burger pop-up this Saturday, September 26, featuring made-to-order smash burgers from local cook Russell C.
The pop-up will feature the “OG Double,” made with two 3-ounce prime chuck smash patties, double American cheese and house burger sauce on a potato roll. Burgers are $12 each.
Burgers will be available by preorder only, with pickup at Chop Shop between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Customers will be assigned a 30-minute pickup window after placing an order. A limited number of burgers will be available. To preorder a burger, reach out to @russelljcarter on Instagram.
Chop Shop Butchery is a family-owned butcher shop in Gaithersburg operated by a husband-and-wife team. The shop specializes in premium meats prepared in-house and emphasizes traditional butchery, locally focused service and helping customers select and prepare different cuts of meat.
The September 26 event will be Russell’s first off-site burger pop-up.
