Permanent signage is now up for the joint Cold Stone Creamery and Wetzel’s Pretzels location coming to Burtonsville Crossing Shopping Center.
The new store will be located next to TJ Maxx at the shopping center.
Wetzel’s Pretzels is known for its hand-rolled, oven-baked snacks, including classic salted pretzels, Wetzel Dogs, Dog Bites and Pizza Bitz, along with sweet options and fresh lemonades. Additional Wetzel’s Pretzels locations are planned for Westfield Wheaton and Westfield Montgomery.
Cold Stone Creamery specializes in customizable ice cream creations mixed on a frozen granite slab with toppings including candy, fruit, nuts and baked goods. The chain already operates Montgomery County locations in Gaithersburg, Germantown, Olney and Silver Spring, with another location planned for Wintergreen Plaza in Rockville.
Plans for the location were first revealed earlier this year through a leasing listing from EDENS. An opening date has not yet been announced.
