Signage has now been installed for Shotted, the Northern Virginia-based Saudi-inspired coffee shop preparing to open at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.
The upcoming café will open in the space most recently occupied by Gold Bunny Donuts and previously home to Donutchew. Employees at Shotted’s Tysons location previously told The MoCo Show that the Montgomery Mall location is expected to open this fall, though an exact opening date has not been announced.
The Bethesda café will be Shotted’s second Maryland location following the opening of its first at Annapolis Mall in February. Shotted offers premium coffee drinks, desserts and soft serve in a setting inspired by Saudi café culture.
The company describes its cafés as family-friendly gathering spaces and alcohol-free and smoke-free alternatives to traditional nightlife venues.
