A Powerball ticket worth $200,000 was sold in College Park for the Wednesday, September 30 drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery
The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven at 8900 Edmonston Road in Prince George’s County. The player matched four of the five white balls plus the Powerball and added the $1 Power Play option. Wednesday’s 4X multiplier increased the prize from $50,000 to $200,000. The winning numbers were 4, 6, 23, 33 and 44, with a Powerball of 13.
The College Park ticket is the fourth third-tier Powerball winner sold in Maryland over the past two drawings. Monday’s drawing produced a $150,000 winner in North Beach and $50,000 winning tickets in Lutherville and Middle River.
No ticket has won the jackpot since August 12, and Saturday’s jackpot has grown to an estimated $440 million, with an estimated cash option of $183.1 million.
