One of the Mid-Atlantic’s Largest Classic Car Shows Returns to Rockville

The Rockville Antique and Classic Car Show, a city tradition for more than six decades, will return to Rockville Civic Center Park on Saturday, October 17.

The free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the park, located at 603 Edmonston Drive, and will feature vehicles representing more than 30 car clubs.

One of the oldest and largest antique and classic car shows in the Mid-Atlantic region, the event brings together a wide range of vehicles, from Packard and Plymouth to Fiat and Ferrari, throughout the grounds surrounding historic Glenview Mansion.

The show will also feature a flea market and live music from The Rock-A-Sonics. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

An accessible courtesy shuttle will run every 15 to 20 minutes from Meadow Hall Elementary School, 951 Twinbrook Parkway, to the rear of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre near the show grounds from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shuttle, operated by the Rockville Senior Center, will be marked “Rockville Senior Services.”

Limited public parking at Rockville Civic Center Park will open at 9:30 a.m., with access from Baltimore Road at Avery Road. Accessible parking in the park’s main lot will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for vehicles with an accessible placard or license plate. Bike parking will also be available in the parking spaces outside the park’s tennis courts.
