A Waldorf man won $150,405 playing the Maryland Lottery’s Bonus Match 5 game after purchasing multiple tickets with the same number combinations.
The winner, an Army veteran, claimed his prize on October 28 at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. According to lottery officials, he regularly purchases multiple tickets featuring numbers he believes will win.
The man spent $6 on nine number combinations, including several repeated selections. His tickets resulted in three top-prize wins and additional smaller prizes, bringing his total winnings to $150,405, his largest lottery prize to date. The winning tickets were purchased at Dash In, located at 2007 Smallwood Drive in Waldorf. The retailer will receive a total bonus of $1,500 for selling the three top-prize winning tickets.
