The City of Rockville will host its annual Lunar New Year celebration on Saturday, February 6, 2027, from 1 to 3:30 pm at Richard Montgomery High School, located at 250 Richard Montgomery Drive.
The free event will celebrate the Year of the Goat with multicultural performances, interactive displays, children’s crafts and to-go snack boxes, while supplies last. Performances are scheduled from 1:30 to 3 pm.
Organized in partnership with Rockville’s Asian Pacific American Task Force, the annual celebration highlights the city’s Asian cultures and provides an opportunity for residents to learn about Lunar New Year traditions.
Local nonprofit organizations interested in hosting a display table at the event can apply by Wednesday, January 6.
Admission is free, and tickets are not required. Additional information is available at rockvillemd.gov/lunarnewyear.
