A Powerball ticket sold in Bethesda won $50,000 in Wednesday night’s Double Play drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The winning ticket was purchased at Talbert’s Ice & Beverage Service, located at 5234 River Road in Bethesda. The winning Double Play numbers for November 4 were 3, 6, 23, 58 and 65, with a Powerball of 15.
The ticket matched enough numbers to claim the game’s third-tier prize of $50,000. Double Play is an optional $1 add-on that gives Powerball players a second chance to win prizes in a separate drawing held approximately 30 minutes after the regular Powerball drawing. The top Double Play prize is $10 million.
Meanwhile, a player in New Jersey won Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot, estimated at $874 million, making it the ninth-largest jackpot in the game’s history. It marked the seventh Powerball jackpot win of 2026 and the first since an Illinois player won $1.04 billion on August 12.
