The Salgado family, known for their extravagant yearly Christmas display, is hosting “Salgado Haunted Manor,” a haunted walkthrough display this year for Halloween at 11104 Knights Ct. Germantown.
Opening night is October 5th at 7:30 p.m. The display is FREE and open to everyone and on Halloween night the Salgados will be giving out FREE food and candy to all who come. The family will also be accepting donations. The walk-through display will be open on the following dates: October 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, and 31 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., weather permitting.
“Our Christmas display will also be returning this year, and we will share more information soon! The reason we do this is to give back to the community, foster a sense of togetherness, and help the less fortunate through donations. This display aims to bring happiness, joy, and provide a place for people to escape from the realities of the outside world, especially with everything going on.
The display is created by me and my sister, Pahan and Supuli Salgado. This year, we received help from our family friends, Anthony and Biyansa, in setting up and editing videos of the display.
We kindly ask visitors not to block neighbors’ driveways and to park along the side streets, walking to the display when possible,” Pahan Salgado told us.
