The Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred on September 30, 2024, where a 53-year-old man was struck and killed in Germantown.
According to police, “At approximately 7:55 p.m., Montgomery County Police Department 5th District Officers and Fire Rescue personnel responded to the intersection of Frederick Road and High Point Drive for reports of a collision involving a blue Honda Prelude and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, identified as 53-year-old Dominique Mwepu, sustained life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead on the scene. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
