Germantown Family Celebrates the Holidays and Tradition With Extravagant Light Display Open to the Public

The Salgado family Christmas display, created by siblings Pahan and Supuli Salgado, will have its opening night on November 16, from 6:30-9:00pm at 11104 Knights Ct in Germantown.

The annual free event features a walkthrough trail with animatronic Christmas characters, inflatables, thousands of lights, and photo opportunities with Santa and reindeer. The display will be open every Friday through Sunday, 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, until January 5 (weather permitting).

According to the family, the display aims to share the love and light of Christmas, offering a free experience for those who may not afford big-ticket displays. Donations are accepted for the display’s upkeep, as well as non-perishable food donations for Manna Food Center to support those in need. Dedicated to their late grandmothers, Lolita and Susila, the display was built with help from family and friends, including a handmade nativity scene by their uncle Indika.

The family kindly asks visitors to avoid blocking neighbors’ driveways and to park outside of the neighborhood.
