The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) has released additional information regarding a fatal single-vehicle that occurred on November 21 in Gaithersburg.
According to MCPD, “The Montgomery County Department of Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Thursday, November 21, 2024, in the area of Darnestown Road and Bondy Lane. The decedent has been identified as 42-year-old Alyssa Marie Clark, of Reston, VA.
At approximately 10:31 p.m., 1st District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the 13300 block of Darnestown Road for the report of a single vehicle collision.
The investigation has revealed that Clark’s blue 2007 Toyota Camry was traveling westbound on Darnestown Road when, for reasons under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
This is an active and ongoing investigation. CRU detectives are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call (240) 773-6620.”
