Westfield Montgomery Mall at 7101 Democracy Blvd in Bethesda will host Lunar New Year Celebrations in partnership with the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC) on January 25th and February 8th from 11 AM to 3 PM, featuring cultural performances, arts and crafts, a dragon parade, and guest appearances by Netflix’s Love is Blind DC stars Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans (January 25 only).
Highlights include traditional lion and dragon dances, hands-on crafts, a Lantern Festival on February 8th, and special red envelopes for participants and donors, while supplies last.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant festivities and décor as we celebrate the Year of the Snake! This event is free to attend but we do ask for your RSVP HERE.
To signify a fresh start, good luck and prosperity going into the new year, it is a Lunar New Year tradition to rid your wardrobe of old clothes and purchase new clothes! Bring us your gently used (or new!) clothes to donate to benefit Interfaith Works. Those who donate will receive a special red envelope, known as “hongboa”, or “lucky money” to redeem at participating retailers within Westfield Montgomery. Only from 11AM – 3PM on January 25th, while supplies last.

- The Lantern Festival is a fun Lunar New Year tradition that symbolizes letting go of the past year and welcoming the new year with good fortune by viewing colorful lanterns often with riddles written on them to solve while enjoying festivities; it marks the end of the Lunar New Year celebrations. Those who can solve the riddles will receive a special red envelope, known as “hongboa”, or “lucky money”! Only from 11AM – 3PM on February 8th, while supplies last.”
