Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown, along with a coalition of 12 attorneys general, is seeking a preliminary injunction to prevent Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency from accessing Americans’ private information through the Treasury’s payment system, after successfully obtaining a court order to block and destroy the records they had accessed.
Per the news release: “Attorney General Anthony G. Brown today joined a coalition of 12 attorneys general in releasing the following statement ahead of a court hearing in their case against the Trump administration for illegally granting Elon Musk and members of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) access to Americans’ private information.
