The Takoma Pride Parade and Street Fair will take place in Takoma Park, Maryland, with the parade beginning at 201 Ethan Allen Avenue and proceeding along Carroll Avenue to Laurel Avenue, where the street fair will be held.
Per Main Street Takoma: “Sunday, June 1st is the Takoma Pride Parade and Street Fair from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. All are invited to join in this family-friendly event!
Join the Parade! Dress festively and join the parade! Come early to create posters with your personal messages of Pride. March to Laurel Avenue for the Street Fair for lots of fun. Meet up 201 Ethan Allen Avenue. Poster making starts at 9:30 am. Parade leaves at 10:00am.
Just want to watch? Parade runs approximately 10:00 am – 10:30 am
Line up along Carroll Ave between Philadelphia Ave and Laurel Ave. Show your support as the parade marches by with The OUT Riders, a float created by the Takoma Park Rainbow Club carrying guest of honor drag queen, Tara Hoot, plus members of the Free State Roller Derby!

– Free face painting and chalk for writing expressions of Pride in the street
– Pride art installation for taking photos created by the Takoma Park Rainbow Club
– Ice cream and sweets by Sticky Fingers and Frosty Softy”
