Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Brandon Lee Smith, a missing 27-year-old autistic male.
Smith was last seen on Monday, June 9, at approximately 12:45 p.m., in the 5400 block of McGrath Boulevard in Rockville. He is 5-foot, 3-inches tall, 120 lbs., with black hair and brown.
Please call 9-1-1 immediately if spotted. When engaging with an autistic person, it is important to approach them calmly and slowly. Avoid making sudden movements or loud noises that might startle them. Speak in a gentle, reassuring tone, even if the person does not respond verbally. Most importantly, ensure their safety and wait for police to arrive.
