“A Maryland Lottery player landed the win of a lifetime last night, thanks to the multistate Cash4Life game. Wegmans in Lanham sold the second-tier winning ticket. The player holding the winning ticket from the June 18 drawing is the first to score a second-tier $1,000-a-week-for-life Cash4Life prize in Maryland in 2025 and the twelfth since the game became available in the state in 2016.
The Prince George’s County retailer at 9001 McHugh Drive, will receive a $2,500 bonus from the Lottery for selling the ticket. The winner can choose between a $1,000-a-week-for-life annuity paid in annual installments of $52,000 a year, or a $1 million cash option (before taxes). Check your ticket for the winning numbers of 17, 26, 30, 47, 57; the Cash Ball was 4. Our winner matched the first five numbers, but did not match the Cash Ball.
The last time a second-tier winning Cash4Life ticket was sold in Maryland was Dec. 31. A Harford County man claimed that prize. The Maryland Lottery began offering the Cash4Life game in January 2016. Ten states participate: Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Tennessee.”
