Free Ride On Shuttle to Serve Juneteenth Event at BlackRock Center

Montgomery County Ride On will provide free shuttle bus service on Saturday, June 21, for the Juneteenth event at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, with stops at Montgomery College and Northwest High School every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.


Per the news release: “On Saturday, June 21, Ride On will provide shuttle bus service for the “Juneteenth: Pushing Back—The Fight for Freedom is Not Over” free, public event at the BlackRock Center for the Arts located at 12901 Town Commons Drive in Germantown.

The free shuttle will cycle between the following three locations every 30 minutes between 11 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.:

  • Northwest High School13501 Richter Farm Road, Germantown – Bus parking lot across from the school’s main entrance.
  • BlackRock Center for the Arts12901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown – Ride On bus stop #15044 on Middlebrook Road across the street from McDonald’s.

Ride On Bus Route 61 at the Shady Grove station also has a bus stop on Germantown Road between Crystal Rock and Middlebrook Road, which is only a few blocks walk from the BlackRock Center.
