Wegmans opens its ninth Maryland location today, Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 1590 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852, in the new Twinbrook Quarter development.
The new store will welcome customers starting at 9 a.m. and will operate daily from 6 a.m. to midnight. Managed by Jamie Dominick, a 22-year Wegmans veteran and former manager of the Germantown location, the 80,000-square-foot store will employ over 400 staff members.
Executive Chef Joe Serock will lead a team of more than 70 culinary professionals in Restaurant Foods, offering a wide variety of fresh, ready-to-eat options, including:

Signature Bowl Station: Chef-developed meals with 20 to 40 grams of protein and a serving of vegetables in every bowl

To streamline the shopping experience, the store offers 12 full-service registers, 17 self-checkout stations, and five additional self-checkouts for prepared foods. Parking includes 672 spaces across two levels (G1 and G2), with eight EV charging stations on the first level. Customers receive two hours of free parking.
