Update: Mattheus Pietro Costa has been located safe and unharmed.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mattheus Pietro Costa, a missing 14-year-old.
Costa was last seen on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in the 1800 block of Cross Country Lane, Gaithersburg. He is 5 feet 6 inches, 140 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. Has a left ear piercing and a left cheekbone piercing. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, and black sneakers.
