The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded to the report of a shooting in Dickerson on Friday afternoon.
MCPD issued the following incident alert at 4:23pm: “5th District officers dispatched at 4:06 p.m. to the 23000 block of Mt. Ephraim Rd. for the report of a shooting.”
At 5:09pm, MCPD released the following, “Mt. Ephraim Rd UPDATE: One adult female transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound. Preliminarily, this shooting is being investigated as accidental.”
